Empowering Indigenous People Leads to a Better Nation

        
        The celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month reminds us that our culture continues. Indigenous communities keep traditions, stories, and skills that give us knowledge while also teaching us to respect these traditions. Their culture is what preserves our past and continues to guide and help the future.



        Empowering Indigenous Peoples means listening to their voices and protecting their rights. When they are seen and supported, they can care and have what is theirs, they can share their knowledge, and help build a better society. They also remind us to always care and protect the environment.


 

       By respecting Indigenous culture, we can build a stronger nation. Indigenous communities are important to development. When we value and support them, we create a better future for all Filipinos.

Together for a Greener Community (1st Quarter Thematic Project)

  H ere, I'm helping clean our barangay by sweeping to collect trash and by taking out weeds for a safer, cleaner, and greener environment. I n this picture, me and our club are working together to clean our school. It shows that teamwork makes a bigger impact in keeping our community clean and environment-friendly. T his 3rd  photo shows how we recycle our trash at home and turn it into something useful, like a pot we use to plant vegetables. I n this 4th photo, me and my family segregate our garbage. Since the garbage collector doesn’t reach our house, we collect it ourselves and travel to properly dispose it in a designated area. By starting in our home and working together, we can create a greener, cleaner, and better environment for everyone. 1st Quarter: Learning Through Lessons and Problems

            T his quarter was full of ups and downs. I learned a lot — not just from academic lessons, but also through personal experiences that helped me become better at handling challenges.           I n ICT, I discovered so much about the history of something we really love and use every day — the internet. It was really interesting to learn how it all started, from the launch of Sputnik and how it was first intended for military use, to how it eventually became accessible to almost everyone around the world.
